How to Set It Up

  1. Log in to your Airfold account and navigate to the Integrations page.
  2. Find and select the Amazon S3 integration.
  3. Click "Connect" and you'll be prompted to provide your AWS credentials:
    • Enter your AWS Access Key ID and Secret Access Key
    • Alternatively, use IAM role-based authentication if your Airfold instance is running on AWS
  4. Once authenticated, specify the S3 buckets and prefixes you want to connect to Airfold.
  5. Configure access permissions, ensuring Airfold has the necessary read (and write, if needed) access to your S3 resources.
  6. Set up data sync options:
    • Choose file types to sync (CSV, JSON, Parquet, etc.)
    • Set up the sync frequency (real-time, hourly, daily, etc.)
    • Configure any data transformations or preprocessing steps
  7. Map S3 data structures to Airfold's data model, defining how files and folders correspond to your analytics schema.
  8. Set up any specific automations or workflows you want to create between S3 and Airfold.
  9. Optionally, configure advanced settings such as versioning handling or large file processing strategies.
  10. Save your settings and start using S3 data in your Airfold dashboards and reports.
